การศึกษาวิจัยฯ ครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาสถานการณ์การประกอบอาชีพและรายได้ของผู้สูงอายุ เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบการพัฒนาอาชีพให้แก่ผู้สูงอายุและเพื่อทดลองนำรูปแบบการพัฒนาอาชีพผู้สูงอายุไปใช้ในพื้นที่ เป็นการวิจัยแบบผสมผสานทั้งวิจัยเชิงปริมาณในพื้นที่ วิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ และทดลองปฏิบัติการในพื้นที่ ตัวอย่างและผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลัก คือ ผู้สูงอายุในพื้นที่ความรับผิดชอบของสำนักงานส่งเสริมและสนับสนุนวิชาการ 10 โดยจัดเก็บจากตัวอย่าง จำนวน 438 คน และผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลัก 120 คน ซึ่งสามารถสรุปผลการศึกษาได้ดังนี้ ผู้สูงอายุกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ก่อนเกษียณอายุและหลังเกษียณอายุ ประกอบอาชีพเกษตรกรรม มีรายได้หลักมาจากเบี้ยยังชีพ ผู้ที่มีศักยภาพในการทำงานด้านหัตถกรรมและมีความพร้อมในการประกอบอาชีพสร้างรายได้ มีความต้องการรับการสนับสนุน ในรูปแบบเงินทุนประกอบอาชีพ การจัดหางานที่เหมาะสม และการสนับสนุนในการจัดการอบรมอาชีพ ส่วนรูปแบบการพัฒนาอาชีพของกลุ่มอาชีพผู้สูงอายุ มี 4 แนวทาง คือ การพัฒนาการตลาด การอบรมอาชีพ การสนับสนุนเงินทุนประกอบอาชีพ และการพัฒนารูปแบบของสินค้าและบรรจุภัณฑ์ รวมทั้งการทดลองอบรมให้ความรู้ในเรื่องการตลาดอย่างง่ายให้แก่กลุ่มอาชีพผู้สูงอายุและผู้สูงอายุที่มีอาชีพและสนใจ ข้อเสนอแนะ ด้านนโยบาย ภาครัฐควรกำหนดให้เบี้ยยังชีพ เป็นสวัสดิการตามกฎหมาย มีการจ้างงานผู้สูงอายุ ส่งเสริมให้ผู้สูงอายุได้ทำอาชีพที่เหมาะสมกับวัย ประสบการณ์ และสมรรถภาพทางร่างกาย รวมทั้งเสริมสร้างให้ผู้สูงอายุมีทัศนคติเชิงบวกต่อการทำงาน และเตรียมความพร้อมในการสร้างความมั่นคงด้านรายได้ให้กับผู้ที่เกิดระหว่างปี พ.ศ.2502-2526 ด้านปฏิบัติการ องค์กรปกครอง ส่วนท้องถิ่น ควรมีการจัดแผนพัฒนาอาชีพให้กับกลุ่มอาชีพที่มีอยู่แล้วในชุมชนโดยการพัฒนาสินค้าที่เป็นนวัตกรรมควบคู่กับการท่องเที่ยว มีแผนพัฒนาอาชีพให้กับผู้สูงอายุที่ต้องการทำงาน และทำความตกลงร่วมมือกับภาคเอกชนในการทำกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคม (CSR) ในการสร้างอาชีพให้กับผู้สูงอายุ และข้อเสนอแนะในการวิจัยครั้งต่อไป ควรศึกษาการพัฒนาสินค้านวัตกรรมของผู้สูงอายุ บนพื้นฐานภูมิปัญญา และปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อทัศนคติเชิงบวกของผู้สูงอายุต่อการทำงานหารายได้<br><br>Abstract This research was conducted to investigate the career and income situation of the elderly. It aims to study the model of career development for the elderly and try to apply the career development model in the area. It is an integrated research study of quantitative research in the area, qualitative research and experiment in the sample area. The samples and primary data providers are the elderly in the area of responsibility of Technical Development and Promotion Office 10. All of the data were collected from the samples of 438 people and 120 primary data providers. The results can be summarized as follows. According to the elderly from the samples, both retirees and not retirees, they are agriculturist and get subsistence allowance as their main income. They have potential in handicraft work and are ready to get a job and earn a living. They need a support in a form of career funds, proper job recruitment and vocational training. Moreover, it was found that the model of career development for the elderly has 4 approaches. There are market development, vocational training, a support for career funds and the product and packaging development. In addition, the training program provides knowledge on simple marketing to the elderly who grouped for certain careers and the elderly who already has a career and an interest to join. From the findings, the government should work more on the policy. That is, they should set the subsistence allowance as a legal welfare. There should be more employment for the elderly. They should encourage the elderly to get a job that is appropriate to their age, experience and physical fitness. Also, they should enhance the positive attitude of the elderly towards work and prepare to secure the income for those who born between the year 1959-1983. Local Administrative Organization should work on an operation of vocational development plan for those who already have a career by developing innovative products alongside tourism. Furthermore, they should provide career development plans for the elderly who want to work and they should agree to cooperate with the private organization in order to have Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to create careers for the elderly. It would be a good idea for a further research to study the development of innovative products for the elderly on the basis of wisdom and factors affecting the positive attitude of the elderly on having a career and earning a living.
