งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงคือ 1.เพื่อศึกษาวิถีชีวิต การดำเนินกิจกรรมทางเศรษฐกิจ และบริบททางสังคมและชุมชนของชนเผ่าในบริเวณศูนย์พัฒนาโครงการหลวงหนองหอย จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ 2.เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนาสังคมและชุมชนของศูนย์พัฒนาโครงการหลวงหนองหอย จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ในการส่งเสริมการพึ่งพาตนเองของชนเผ่าตามหลักปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง 3.เพื่อจัดทำข้อเสนอแนะเชิงนโยบายและต้นแบบ (model) การดำเนินกิจกรรมทางเศรษฐกิจ การพัฒนาสังคมและชุมชน ภายใต้แนวคิดการพึ่งพาตนเองของชนเผ่าตามหลักปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง ทั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยเลือกใช้ระเบียบวิธีการวิจัยแบบผสานวิธี (Mixed Methods Research) ผลการศึกษาชี้ให้เห็นแนวทางการพัฒนาชุมชนของศูนย์พัฒนาโครงการหลวงหนองหอย จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ส่งผลต่อการส่งเสริมการพึ่งพาตนเองของชนเผ่าตามหลักปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง มีทั้งด้านบวกและด้านลบ และรูปแบบการพัฒนาที่ยังไม่ได้ส่งเสริมการมีส่วนร่วมของประชาชนเท่าที่ควร ทั้งนี้รวมถึงมีความขัดแย้งกับอำนาจรัฐในเรื่องการจัดสรรที่ทำกิน ข้อเสนอแนะในงานวิจัยนี้สามารถเป็นแนวทางในการกำหนดกรอบการศึกษาวิจัยถึงอิทธิพลของปัจจัยกำหนดนโยบายที่หนุนเสริมวิถีการดำเนินชีวิตที่สร้างสรรค์อันจะนำมาซึ่งการส่งเสริม พัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตให้แก่คนชนบทไทยอย่างตรงเป้าหมาย และเกิดการยกระดับ คุณภาพเศรษฐกิจของชุมชนชนบทที่สอดรับไปกับบริบทการพัฒนาประเทศไทยในปัจจุบันต่อไป <br><br>This research has the following objectives: 1. To study the way of life, carrying out economic activities as well as social and community contexts of the tribes in the area of Nong Hoi Royal Project Development Center, Chiang Mai Province. 2.To study the guidelines for social and community development of Nong Hoi Royal Project Development Center, Chiang Mai Province in promoting self-reliance of the tribes according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy. 3. To prepare policy recommendations and a model, economic activities implementation, social and community development under the concept of self-reliance of the tribes according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy. However, the researcher chose to use the mixed method research method. The finding indicated the community development approach of Nong Hoi Royal Project Development Center, Chiang Mai Province. This affects the promotion of self-reliance of the tribes according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy. The researcher, however, decided to conduct study using a mixed technique approach. The discovery reflected the Nong Hoi Royal Project Development Center in Chiang Mai Provinces approach to community development. This has an effect on the Sufficiency Economy Philosophys advocacy of tribal self-reliance. Nonetheless, both beneficial and adverse impacts occurred. Additionally, development models have not yet adequately fostered public engagement. This also involves disagreements with governmental authorities over land allotment. The recommendations in this research: This research can be applied as a guideline for developing a research framework on the influence of policy-making factors that promote creative lifestyles that improve the quality of life for rural people in Thailand as a whole and upgrade the economic quality of rural communities in line with the current Thailand development context.
